I am considering about renovation of my personal homepage, http://www.intochaos.com/ . Recently, I could not well manage it or anyone visited to the page.
Personally, the blog does not look good to me because it looks like giving one-side publication.
To renovate the homepage will ask me too much time, so now I am considering not deciding yet. ^^;
To start with Wiki page,
1) go to http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki and download the suitable package for your destination.
2) install and follow the guide by referring the site, http://www.palaeos.org/MediaWiki_Admin_Notes
